Developmentally
Appropriate and Research Based
Each
10-week class series uses the curriculum of Music Together, allowing
children to experiment with rhythm and tone at their own developmental
level. Because children at this age learn through play, our teachers
introduce basic rhythm and tonal skills through chants, sing-a-longs,
instrument play, dance and creative movement.
Parents
as Music Teachers
Musical skills can be taught by someone without an emotional tie to
a young child, but attitudes toward an activity can only be modeled
by parents or close caregivers. Our teachers help guide parents to
become the main music teachers of their young children through interactive
rhythm, movement and tonal play between parent and child.

A Family
Affair
Children love to play with the adults in their lives and our 45 minute
classes provide a regular time for a parents or caregivers to connect
with their children. The songs and class activities become familiar
family rituals making other daily activities, such as car rides, cooking
dinner or bath time, opportunities to make music together.
A Wide Variety of Music
Three 10-week sessions are offered each year, and families receive
a different Music Together CD and songbook for each session. The song
collections expose children to a wide variety of musical styles, tempos,
key signatures, rhythm patterns and languages.
